The weekend of July 6 & 7 is shaping up to be one not to miss!! Our two-yearly Arts Crafts and Open Gardens event (check here for details and updates) is on over the whole weekend with some great new additions, including workshops and demonstrations, a QR code village history trail, and what should be an amazing floral display in the Church.
On the Saturday, the Friends of KN School are also holding their summer Fete, with loads of fun and activities for the kids.

On the Sunday, the Arts, Crafts and Open Gardens continues - and we are putting on music at the Hall to enjoy with a drink or lunch.
The music will be provided by the fabulous Arslan Muzika - check out the video below for a taste of what you can expect
It is always tricky trying to work out how much food to prepare for events like this, so we are asking people to let us know if they would like to eat - menu and order form here

Welcome to the Community Website for Kingsnympton
Whether you are a local or a visitor, this is the place to find information about the village and surroundings, and an insight into the community.

Maybe you're moving into the area and would like to introduce yourselves or find out about what's going on in the community. Maybe you need a specialist in a particular area of work. You can find this and much more in our pages and directory listings.

To help you to become more sustainable we're got a section on lowering your environmental impact - including recycling everything from bubble wrap to laptops and buying from local independent shops

If you are visiting the village we have extremely informative sections on the local historyplaces to eat and places to sleep! You can even take a tour of our virtual village to explore before you get here!

Many of the recommendations are based on personal preferences - so if there are eateries, days out or tradespeople you think we should be featuring, do let us know. The same goes for what's ons and important notices for the `Latest Information' box at the top of the page.

Much of the information here was written by John Barnes, who set up the original site. But there are always new aspects to village life that we should reflect, so if you feel there is anything missing just get in touch.

Also, check out, follow and contribute to our Community Facebook Group
