Kingsnympton School is a small rural primary school with approximately 40 children. Our school has a playground, a playing field, a garden and a wildlife area which includes a pond. We use the Parish Hall for P.E and enrichment activities.

 

Our Forest School provision is a key part of our school and all year groups participate. The children learn outdoor skills offsite in a wooded location approximately one mile from the school.  Sport is also of key importance for the school. We believe in the importance of exercise and outdoor activity as a central element of our children's learning.

We have an onsite, nurturing Pre-school - The Woodlands Pre-school - that can take 12 children that feeds into our Key Stage 1 class.

We are a feeder primary school for Chulmleigh Community College with some children also going to South Molton Community College, Park School in Barnstaple, or Queen Elizabeth in Crediton (which also has a sixth form).

Other sixth form and college facilities are at Petroc (with campuses in Barnstaple and Tiverton) and Exeter College.
