The archive is growing out of an idea that I had during the Covid lockdown. I wanted a project to work on once restrictions lifted, and it struck me there would be value in recording the memories of people who grew up in the village and surrounding farms during the 1960s and before. They lived in a North Devon that was very different to today's, and one that few residents now would recognise. Click on the links to hear from
